Flexible packaging can be defined as a package or container which is made of flexible or materials when filled and closed can be quickly changed in shape. It is usually used for beg, pouches & wraps lamination films in one such kind of flexible packaging.
Flexible Packaging Laminates
Perfect for both dry food packaging and liquid applications, flexible packaging films and laminates create a layer of insulation that protects products when packaged.
Various types of packaging materials are used to formulate the laminate structure including polyethene, polyester, nylon, foils and more.
We also provide laminates with coatings for improved sealable qualities.
The multilayer composite structure can be produced either through a process using adhesives or extrusion.
Flexible packaging laminates have three main functions:-
1. Machanical Properties : It improve the strength of the material by macking it more resistant to tearing, punching etc.
2. Barrier properties : It protect from outside deteriorating agents (ie light, moisture, gas etc.)
3. Substrate Scalability : It hermetically closes the flexible packaging.
Flexible packaging laminates are used for products that need to be protected or have shelf lives extended.
